Job Description

The Seam Hammerer is responsible for operating and maintaining seam hammering equipment to create strong and secure seams in metal fabrication. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in the metalworking industry and a passion for producing high-quality components.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain seam hammering machinery efficiently.
• Inspect products during and after production to ensure quality standards.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Document production output accurately.
• Engage in team collaboration to enhance production processes.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent qualification
• Technical training in welding or metalworking advantageous

Experience

• Recommended experience with other metal fabrication processes and machinery.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with various seam hammering machinery and tools
• Experience with quality control procedures

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Team collaboration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
