We are looking for a Bioinformatics Researcher to drive impactful research in our Stellenbosch office. This role involves analyzing biological data to contribute to advancements in healthcare and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design computational approaches to analyze health data.
• Collaborate with scientists to optimize experimental designs.
• Engage in data mining and visualization techniques for biological data.
• Contribute to grant writing and project proposals.
• Assist in regulatory compliance and quality control of research outputs.
• Participate in outreach and engagement activities to promote research findings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field
• Master's degree in Bioinformatics or Computational Biology highly preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a research or analytical role
