Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented pharmacist to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of medications and patient care and will be responsible for dispensing prescriptions, advising patients, and maintaining pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacy operations and workflow.
• Assist in training pharmacy staff and interns.
• Monitor and report adverse effects of medications to the relevant authorities.
• Participate in patient health care discussions with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)
• Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in retail pharmacy or hospital pharmacy

Certifications

• South African Pharmacy Council Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
