Dipper Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Dipper Operator to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a dipper to excavate and load material into dump trucks with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal operation of the dipper during excavation projects.
• Collaborate with site supervisors to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Report any hazardous conditions or incidents immediately.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Conduct minor repairs to equipment to keep it operational.
• Work in various weather conditions while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Assist in other construction tasks as required.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Dipper Operator Certificate

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with heavy machinery in construction.

Certifications

• Basic First Aid Certificate
