Responsibilities

• Review and draft contracts, ensuring alignment with legal standards.
• Advise clients on compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Provide legal opinions on various issues as required.
• Assist in developing internal legal policies and procedures.
• Conduct training sessions on legal compliance for clients and staff.

Requirements

Education

• Postgraduate qualification in law is advantageous

Experience

• Experience in corporate law or commercial law preferred

• Legal Research

Certifications

• Certifications in Compliance or Contract Law preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with regulatory compliance matters: Knowledge of industry-specific compliance and governance.
• Proficiency in another official language of South Africa: Ability to communicate in another official language is an asset.
