Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lens Engraver to join our team. As a Lens Engraver, you will be responsible for creating precise and accurate engravings on lenses using specialized engraving equipment. You should possess a keen eye for detail and experience working with delicate materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate engraving machinery and produce high-quality designs on lenses.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of materials and tools used in the engraving process.
• Assist in training new staff on engraving equipment and safety procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to workflow.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in mechanical skills or engraver's training is a plus.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in optics manufacturing or lens engraving.

Technical Skills

• Lens alignment tools
• Quality inspection tools

Soft Skills

• Organizational skills
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with quality management systems: Proficiency in using quality management procedures to ensure high product standards.
• Knowledge of lens coatings and treatments: Understanding of different coatings and how they affect engraving processes.
