As a Shop Supervisor, you will take charge of daily operations, staff management, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This pivotal role requires you to oversee the execution of sales strategies and operational procedures to drive profitability and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve store targets.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and manage reordering processes.
  • Address customer service issues and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Oversee store presentations and displays to ensure they are visually appealing.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize shop performance.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate staff schedules and manage training for new hires.
  • Conduct sales training sessions and workshops for staff development.
Job Requirements
  • Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Retail Management or related field is an advantage
  • Leadership Strong leadership skills with proven experience in managing retail teams.
  • Inventory Management Experience in stock control and inventory optimisation.
  • Customer Service Exceptional skills in customer engagement and problem resolution.
  • Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team Collaboration Effective collaboration with team members across various functions.
  • English (Fluent)
  • Afrikaans (Basic)

  • Experience with Budget Management: Ability to manage and control a budget effectively.
  • Familiarity with Customer Loyalty Programs: Experience in managing loyalty schemes to drive customer engagement.
