Job Description

As a Tour Operations Specialist, you will manage and coordinate all aspects of our tour operations, ensuring that our clients have an exceptional experience while exploring the wonders of South Africa. Your role will involve planning, organizing, and executing tours, while liaising with various stakeholders including travel agents, hotels, and transport services.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging tour itineraries that reflect customer preferences and budget constraints.
• Maintain records of financial transactions and client information accurately.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure the best rates and services.
• Train and oversee tour guides and staff for effective tour delivery.
• Utilize travel management software for bookings and tracking.
• Develop and implement training materials for new team members.
• Attend industry exhibitions and trade shows to promote our services.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant qualification in Marketing or Business Management will be an advantage

Experience

• Experience in designing and managing tour itineraries.
