Job Description

As a Data Scientist based in Port Elizabeth, you will analyze complex datasets and develop predictive models to guide our business strategies. We seek a creative thinker who can apply statistical methodologies and machine learning techniques to uncover trends and insights in our data.

Responsibilities

• Conduct exploratory data analysis to inform model development.
• Engage in data cleaning, data wrangling, and data validation.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate data science solutions into applications.
• Participate in team meetings to review project objectives and outcomes.
• Train and mentor junior data scientists and analysts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, or Statistics
• Master's degree in Data Science or Mathematics is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or data science roles
