Job Description

Join our Cape Town-based team as a Mental Health Therapist, where you will play a key role in supporting clients dealing with various mental health issues. We are looking for an experienced professional who can provide empathetic care and employ effective therapy techniques to create a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate clients' mental health through diagnostic tools and assessments.
  • Develop and lead innovative therapy programs to address mental health issues.
  • Support a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for clients.
  • Maintain communication with clients regarding their treatment goals.
  • Educate clients and families about mental health issues and treatment options.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Counseling Psychology or related field
  • Certification in specific therapeutic modalities is advantageous
Experience
  • 4+ years of extensive experience in mental health counseling
