Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Psychologist to join our mental health services in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will conduct assessments, offer therapy, and support clients facing various emotional and psychological challenges while collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Implement assessment tools to gauge client mental health status.
  • Administer appropriate therapeutic techniques for treatment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care.
  • Participate actively in case management meetings.
  • Document and monitor treatment effectiveness on a regular basis.
  • Engage in professional development through conferences and training.
  • Advocate for client needs within clinical settings.
  • Facilitate peer group therapy sessions.
  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and families.
  • Work with the clinical team to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology or a related field
  • PhD preferred

  • 3-5 years of professional experience
