Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee our housekeepers. Your primary focus will be on training, supervising, and motivating staff while upholding cleanliness standards that align with our brand’s reputation for quality.

Responsibilities

• Direct the housekeeping team to maintain property standards.
• Conduct regular audits to measure cleanliness and service quality.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and team motivation.
• Keep track of housekeeping budgets and resource allocation.
• Assist with special projects related to housekeeping initiatives.
• Ensure all staff are aware of emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with management on housekeeping policies.
• Promote teamwork and a collaborative work environment.
• Maintain high staff morale and job satisfaction.

Advantageous

• Fluency in additional South African languages: Ability to communicate in Xhosa or other local languages is advantageous.
• Knowledge of eco-friendly cleaning products: Experience in using eco-friendly products is a plus.
