Responsibilities
Operate roasting equipment and manage the roasting cycle effectively.
Conduct quality checks and adjust parameters as required.
Collaborate with the quality control team to align on product specifications.
Document processes and maintain inventory of beans.
Engage in cupping sessions to evaluate roast profiles.
Implement safety protocols for equipment operation.
Provide feedback for recipe adjustments and flavor enhancement.
Coordinate with suppliers for timely bean procurement.
Participate in team meetings to align on production goals.
Develop innovative roasting profiles for new coffee varieties.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification in coffee roasting preferred
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience with specialty coffee roasting
