Job Description

We are on the lookout for a passionate Architect to join our vibrant team in Stellenbosch. You will play a pivotal role in designing functional and aesthetically pleasing structures. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of architectural principles and a flair for creativity and innovation in design. You will collaborate with a diverse team, delivering projects that make a difference in communities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design concept and development stages.
• Create 3D models and renderings to visualize the project.
• Attend meetings with clients to understand their needs and desires.
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets and cost estimates.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of architectural trends and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in Urban Planning is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architectural design and project management

Technical Skills

• CAD Software
• BIM Software

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with public sector projects: Familiarity with government contracts and regulations.
• Proficiency in French or Afrikaans: Bilingual skills are advantageous for client relations.
