Job Description

A Fire Control Technician is tasked with installing, maintaining, and repairing fire detection and suppression systems in diverse environments. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and providing training to building occupants.

Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, and maintain fire protection systems including alarms and sprinklers.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and standards.
  • Educate clients on fire safety equipment usage and procedures.
  • Document all maintenance work performed, including schedules and parts used.
  • Be available on call for emergency response to system failures.
  • Keep current with technological advancements in fire safety.
  • Work with building contractors to ensure fire safety measures are integrated.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of fire drills.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through training programs.
