We are seeking a qualified Mining Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. This role involves designing and implementing mining plans, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maximizing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have robust knowledge of mining technologies and a passion for sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mining operations and recommend improvements.
• Oversee the implementation of new technologies in mining.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on safety and operational procedures.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and make decisions.
• Facilitate communication between management and field staff.
• Support compliance with health, safety, and environmental protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent
• Professional Engineering Registration is preferable

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the mining sector
