Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Event Planner to join our team in Port Elizabeth. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing events from conception through to completion. The ideal candidate should love working with people, be detail-oriented, and have a flair for creating memorable experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed event proposals including timelines, budgets, and logistics.
  • Manage all aspects of event planning, from venue selection to on-site management.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Negotiate contracts with providers and suppliers.
  • Develop event marketing strategies to promote our events.
  • Assist in identifying potential sponsorship opportunities.
  • Utilize project management tools to track event progress.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients before, during, and after events.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant Certification in Event Management preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of event planning experience, preferably in corporate settings
