Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Surveyor to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting surveys, preparing reports, and collaborating with project teams to ensure precision in all measurements and designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead survey projects and ensure timely completion.
• Analyze data and prepare presentation materials.
• Coordinate with local authorities for permits and regulations.
• Train and mentor less experienced survey team members.
• Implement best practices for survey accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct quality control checks on survey data.
• Provide technical support to construction teams.
• Maintain survey equipment and ensure proper calibration.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Surveying or related field
• Bachelor's degree is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in construction surveying

• Total Station Equipment
• GPS Technology

Certifications

• Construction Safety Training

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Drone Surveying Experience: Experience in using drones for surveying and mapping purposes.
