We are seeking a talented Aerospace Engineer to join our Durban-based team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, and maintaining aerospace products and systems. You will play a crucial role in innovative aerospace projects, working collaboratively with a team of seasoned professionals on cutting-edge designs and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop plans for aerospace structures and systems.
• Utilize computational fluid dynamics and finite element analysis tools.
• Manage the integration of new technologies into existing systems.
• Work primarily with systems engineering practices.
• Develop project schedules and manage engineering workloads.
• Negotiate with vendors and suppliers regarding materials.
• Conduct feasibility studies and report findings to the team.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach toward continuous improvement.
• Evaluate costs associated with design implementations.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams during the production process.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a focus on Aerospace
• Master's degree or specialized trainings are preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in aerospace engineering
