Public Health Specialist

Job Description

Looking for a Public Health Specialist to spearhead health promotion initiatives in Port Elizabeth. Your role will entail collecting and analyzing public health data, educating communities about health issues, and collaborating with various health agencies to implement health interventions aimed at improving population health.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage health promotion campaigns.
• Conduct epidemiological investigations and health assessments.
• Facilitate focus groups to gather community input on health issues.
• Develop educational materials to raise health awareness.
• Participate in strategic planning for public health initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health is an asset

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in health promotion or program management
