Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Credit Analyst to join our finance team in Sandton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing credit data and financial statements of individuals or companies to determine the risk in extending credit or lending money. You'll analyze credit information, prepare reports, and make recommendations to support our lending decisions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth credit analysis and risk assessments.
• Generate financial reports and present findings to senior management.
• Work closely with the collections team to assess payment risks.
• Review credit limits and adjust them based on risk assessments.
• Collaborate on developing strategies for credit recovery.
• Engage with external stakeholders for credit references and validations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Statistics

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis or financial analysis
