Job Description

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and analyzing structures, ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety standards. This role requires collaboration with architects and contractors to deliver successful projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural designs using engineering principles to create innovative solutions.
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure successful project delivery.
• Review and approve engineering calculations and drawings.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
• Foster relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals and bids for new projects.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of structural engineering experience in the construction industry
