Job Description

Retail Dynamics is seeking a passionate and experienced Retail Manager to oversee our Port Elizabeth store. As a Retail Manager, you'll be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring a high standard of customer service. You will lead by example, fostering a positive work environment that prioritizes employee engagement and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead store staff in achieving sales goals while maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Oversee new product launches and promotions to maximize visibility and sales.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to empower staff with product knowledge.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for stock replenishment.
  • Implement loss prevention strategies to safeguard company assets.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers and the local community.
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Assist in budgeting and expense management for the store.
  • Support the implementation of company initiatives and programs.
  • Coordinate with loss prevention and HR in managing disciplinary actions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • A diploma in Retail Management is a plus.
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail management or supervisory roles.
