Job Description

As a Public Health Analyst in Johannesburg, you will be at the forefront of analysing health data to support public health initiatives. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify trends, evaluate health policies, and recommend improvements to our health services.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the effectiveness of health policies and programs in meeting community needs.
• Prepare detailed analyses and reports to inform public health strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote community health and wellness.
• Conduct statistical analyses using various software tools to interpret health data.
• Develop predictive models to forecast health trends and outcomes.
• Offer training and support for staff on data analysis and interpretation.
• Assist in the creation of educational materials to raise community awareness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or a related field
• Master's degree in Public Health preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis or public health research
