Join our dynamic team as a Help Desk Technician! You'll work on the front lines of our IT support, providing assistance and technical guidance to users in Durban. A problem-solver with excellent communication skills will excel in this position, where you will manage requests, provide project support, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular system checks to ensure hardware and software are functioning optimally.
• Assist with IT projects and initiatives as required by the management team.
• Keep accurate records of all support requests and resolutions.
• Provide training and guidance to users on IT best practices for software and tools.
• Work towards achieving service level agreements (SLAs) for incident response and resolution.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Information Technology or a related field
• IT certifications will be highly regarded

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in help desk or technical support

Technical Skills

• Active Directory Management
• Remote Support Tools
• Hardware Troubleshooting

Certifications

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
