Supply Chain Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to support our operations in East London. In this role, you will analyze supply chain processes, identify areas for improvement, and work closely with various teams to implement efficient solutions. Ideal candidates should possess strong analytical skills and a passion for optimizing supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate supply chain logistics and processes for efficiency.
• Develop and refine forecasts for inventory management.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure best pricing.
• Implement inventory management software.
• Monitor compliance with supply chain regulations.
• Analyze shipment claims and manage resolution processes.
• Support continuous improvement projects within the supply chain team.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Define KPIs to measure supply chain effectiveness.
• Assist in the development of contingency plans in case of disruptions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field
• MBA or advanced degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a supply chain analyst role or similar position

Certifications

• APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)
