Reproduction Specialist

Job Description

As a Reproduction Specialist, you will be pivotal in managing and overseeing the reproduction processes within our facility. This role involves selecting and breeding animals with a focus on genetic improvement as well as monitoring animal health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate reproductive health issues.
• Develop treatment plans and protocols for fertility assistance.
• Perform advanced reproductive procedures such as artificial insemination and embryo transfer.
• Maintain records and documentation of all procedures and outcomes.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to improve reproductive outcomes.
• Educate and mentor junior staff on best practices in reproductive sciences.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Biology, or a related field
• Master's degree or PhD in Animal Science, Genetics, or a related field (preferred)

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in animal reproduction or a related field.
