Join our team at Animal Health Clinic as a Veterinarian! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced veterinarian to provide exceptional care for pets and livestock. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions, performing surgeries, and advising pet owners on health and wellness.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the health and condition of animals on a daily basis.
• Stay updated on the latest veterinary practices and technologies.
• Foster positive relationships with clients and their pets.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary laws and regulations.
• Assist in the training and development of new staff.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in companion animal practice preferred

Technical Skills

• Veterinary software proficiency
• Preventive care

Certifications

• Veterinary Medical Association Membership

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Certification in animal behavior: Knowledgeable in diagnosing and addressing behavior issues in pets.
• Experience in shelter medicine: Prior experience working with shelters and rescue organizations.
