Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled pharmacist to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, advising on proper drug usage, and providing expert consultation on health-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medication therapy reviews and assessments.
• Assist in the development of pharmacy protocols and procedures.
• Facilitate the training and mentoring of junior staff.
• Engage in collaborative healthcare approaches to improve patient care.
• Provide emergency care when needed (first aid and CPR).
• Support the implementation of health promotion activities.
• Utilize pharmacy software for prescription management and inventory control.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in clinical pharmacy settings
