Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Public Health Specialist to join our team in Cape Town. Responsibilities

  • Assess community health conditions with appropriate tools and methodologies.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate public health interventions.
  • Foster partnerships with various stakeholders to support health initiatives.
  • Develop and disseminate public health educational materials.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to inform practice.
  • Supervise and mentor junior public health staff and interns.
  • Participate in community events to engage and educate the public.
  • Prepare and manage program budgets effectively.
  • Integrate cultural competency into all public health initiatives.
  • Advocate for health policy changes that benefit the community.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
