As a Public Health Analyst at Healthcare Solutions Ltd., you will play a vital role in analyzing health data and providing insights that drive effective public health strategies. Your analytical skills will help improve health outcomes for communities across Cape Town. You will gather and interpret data, assess health trends, and collaborate with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze public health data to identify trends and assess health outcomes.
• Collaborate with health professionals to design and implement health initiatives.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Conduct community health assessments and surveys.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of public health programs.
• Provide recommendations for policy adjustments based on data findings.
• Engage with community partners to promote health education and resources.
• Support research projects related to public health issues.
• Stay updated on emerging public health trends and legislation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Epidemiology or related public health field
• Master's degree in Public Health is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in health data analysis or related field

Technical Skills

• Statistical Software (R, SAS, SPSS)
• GIS Software

Certifications

• American Public Health Association (APHA) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
