Public Health Analyst

Job Description

As a Public Health Analyst at Healthcare Solutions Ltd., you will play a vital role in analyzing health data and providing insights that drive effective public health strategies. Your analytical skills will help improve health outcomes for communities across Cape Town. You will gather and interpret data, assess health trends, and collaborate with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed data analysis to inform public health policies.
• Support the planning and execution of public health research.
• Facilitate workshops and training for community health workers.
• Collaborate with external organizations on joint public health projects.
• Review literature to inform best practices in public health.
• Guide data entry and manage health information systems.
• Promote interdisciplinary collaboration in public health strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Epidemiology or related public health field
• Master's degree in Public Health is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in health data analysis or related field

• Statistical Software (R, SAS, SPSS)

Certifications

• American Public Health Association (APHA) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
