Job Description

We are searching for an enthusiastic Insurance Underwriter to assess and evaluate risks for various insurance policies. In this role, you will apply your analytical skills to determine coverage limits and premiums, contributing to the financial success of our clients and the organization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and historical claims to establish risk profiles.
• Engage in negotiations regarding policy terms and premiums with brokers.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior underwriters.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders inside and outside the organization.
• Provide input on new product development and enhancements based on market needs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field relevant to insurance

Experience

• 5 years of experience in underwriting or related insurance fields

Certifications

• Fellowship of the Insurance Institute
