Job Description

As a Civil Design Manager, you will play a key role in shaping urban landscapes. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering exceptional designs. Your leadership skills are crucial in guiding the team and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of high-quality civil design solutions while adhering to project specifications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative approaches to civil engineering challenges.
  • Review and approve engineering calculations and designs prepared by team members.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in civil and structural engineering.
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents and bid submissions.
  • Facilitate effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Evaluate and incorporate feedback from clients to improve project outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Chartered Engineer status is an advantage
Experience
  • 8+ years of relevant civil engineering experience
