Job Description

As a Public Health Analyst, you will work closely with local health authorities and community partners to analyze data and inform public health initiatives. Your work will help shape policies that promote healthier communities in Durban.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze health statistics and present actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for research.
  • Design public health surveys and focus groups.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and provide recommendations.
  • Assist in grant writing and funding proposals.
  • Develop tailored health interventions for various demographics.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations at community meetings.
  • Engage in public forums to promote health awareness.
  • Utilize statistical software for data management and analysis.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Epidemiology or Health Sciences
  • Master's degree in Public Health is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in research and data analysis
