Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Diversity and Inclusion Specialist to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives that promote an inclusive workplace culture and ensure alignment with our organizational values.

Responsibilities

  • Implement best practices for diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
  • Conduct regular training and awareness initiatives for employees.
  • Develop metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of D&I initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leadership on enhancing workplace diversity.
  • Engage with minority communities to enhance recruitment efforts.
  • Establish mentoring programs to support underrepresented groups.
  • Maintain a database of diversity-related resources and literature.
  • Assist in organizing diversity-focused events and activities.
  • Advise on external partnerships to support community diversity initiatives.
  • Review industry developments to keep our strategies relevant.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in diversity and inclusion roles
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of Employment Equity Act

Certifications
  • Certified Diversity Professional (CDP)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
  • Zulu: Basic
