Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of sustainable cultivation practices.
Manage a team of horticultural assistants and technicians.
Analyze soil and plant health data to inform management decisions.
Collaborate with external researchers to improve plant resilience against pests.
Educate clients on best practices for plant care and sustainability.
Oversee compliance with organic farming regulations when applicable.
Evaluate new technologies and methodologies in plant science for potential adoption.
Prepare detailed reports on plant health and management strategies.
Assist in developing educational materials for staff and stakeholders.
Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Crop Science, or a relevant field
Experience
At least 5 years' experience in horticulture and crop management, including supervisory roles.
