Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing various construction projects. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget, while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and implementation of infrastructure projects to improve community facilities.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports to support project development.
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials.
  • Evaluate existing projects for possible improvements or modifications.
  • Participate in public consultations and stakeholder meetings when required.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • 6+ years of experience in civil engineering design and project management
