Oil Refinery Process Technician

Job Description

The Oil Refinery Process Technician will monitor and control the processing of petrochemicals and refining processes. This role demands in-depth knowledge of equipment, safety procedures, and excellent troubleshooting skills to ensure smooth operation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular checks on refinery equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Assist in plant process improvements and troubleshooting issues
• Engage in safety audits and risk assessments regularly
• Collaborate with engineers and operators to enhance operational efficiency
• Document process changes and training materials as required

Requirements

Education

• Matric / Grade 12 certificate
• National Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a petrochemical or refinery environment

Languages

• English: Fluent
