Job Description

As a Registered Nurse at our facility in Durban, you’ll play a critical role in patient advocacy and care management. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes, ensuring safety and comfort during their treatment. Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers.
• Conduct patient assessments and document care and responses.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients on health management and disease prevention.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in nursing practice.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist in the training of new nursing staff and interns.
• Promote a positive working environment through teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Additional certifications in specialized nursing areas appreciated

Experience

• 3+ years in a hospital or clinical setting

Certifications

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in emergency care: Previous experience in emergency room settings or urgent care is a plus.
