As a Logging Worker at XYZ Logistics, you'll play a vital role in transporting timber and other materials within the South African landscape. This role demands a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and communication skills while ensuring timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Safely load timber and materials onto vehicles.
• Transport goods across Gauteng and surrounding areas.
• Implement safety checks and maintain vehicle integrity.
• Document deliveries and liaise with dispatch for updates.
• Navigate local roads confidently and efficiently.
• Support the logistics team with feedback on route efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the transport vehicle.
• Adapt to challenging road conditions while ensuring safety.
• Manage delivery schedules to ensure all deadlines are met.
• Communicate effectively with clients to verify delivery details.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a logistics or transportation role preferred

Technical Skills

• Good driving skills
• Cargo handling

• Attention to detail

Certifications

• Professional Driver's Permit (PDP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
