IT Support Technician

Job Description

We are in search of an IT Support Technician to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional technical support to our users, troubleshoot issues, and help maintain our IT infrastructure. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and assist in improving our technical services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver desktop support and help desk services to the organization.
• Assist in troubleshooting network and connectivity issues.
• Ensure up-to-date antivirus software and security updates are applied.
• Support the IT team in daily operations and projects.
• Document issues and resolutions for future reference.
• Assist with software installations and updates.
• Help manage backups and data recovery processes.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or similar are beneficial

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical support roles
