General Finance Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable General Finance Officer to oversee the financial health of our company. You will be responsible for financial planning, management of financial risk, record-keeping, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of financial practices, regulations, and must be able to provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations—manage cash flow, investments, and debt.
• Review financial procedures, reports, and make improvements.
• Prepare financial statements in compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with departments for budget management and financial planning.
• Advise on investment activities and provide strategies to enhance returns.
• Monitor financial KPI’s and advise management on anomalies or variances.
• Facilitate effective financial communication between teams and higher management.
• Lead special projects based on financial analysis.
• Ensure accuracy in all financial transactions and documentation.
• Stay updated on financial regulations and implement changes as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• Professional accounting or finance certification is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in finance-related roles, particularly in corporate settings
