Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to contribute to our innovative projects in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you'll leverage your expertise in mechanical design and analysis to develop cutting-edge engineering solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from concept through to delivery.
• Utilize CAD software for designing and modeling.
• Evaluate and select materials suitable for various applications.
• Coordinate with suppliers and oversee the prototyping process.
• Develop maintenance procedures and manuals for mechanical systems.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure optimal performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and technical staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering

Technical Skills

• SolidWorks
• AutoCAD
• MATLAB

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PrEng)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
