Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to enhance our cloud infrastructure and streamline our development processes in Johannesburg. You will play a critical role in automating deployments and ensuring system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor cloud services for maximum uptime.
• Work with security teams to ensure best practices are followed.
• Conduct regular system audits and performance evaluations.
• Drive the adoption of DevOps culture across teams.
• Provide support and coach teams on DevOps tools and methodologies.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps engineering

Technical Skills

• CI/CD Tools
• Scripting (Python/Bash)

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in GCP/Azure services: Experience in using other cloud service providers in tandem with AWS.
