Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Investment Banker to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial modelling and investment strategies. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, executing transactions, and providing strategic guidance to our clients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain comprehensive financial models.
• Identify new business opportunities within the client base.
• Attend and represent the firm at industry conferences and networking events.
• Facilitate communication between clients and internal stakeholders.
• Analyze financial reports and provide actionable insights.
• Support the marketing team in creating campaign strategies targeting potential clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
• MBA or equivalent is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in investment banking or corporate finance

Technical Skills

• Corporate Finance
• Risk Assessment

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Teamwork

Certifications

• CFA Level II or equivalent

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Local Regulations: Familiarity with South African financial regulations and compliance.
• Multilingual Abilities: Ability to communicate in Afrikaans or another local language is a plus.
