We are currently seeking a skilled Investment Banker to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial modelling and investment strategies. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, executing transactions, and providing strategic guidance to our clients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage client relationships to understand their financial goals.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis and prepare detailed financial models.
• Execute transactions including mergers, acquisitions, and capital raises.
• Advise clients on investment opportunities and market conditions.
• Prepare pitch books and presentations for client meetings.
• Respond to client inquiries and provide exceptional service.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met.
• Stay updated on market trends and investment strategies.
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
• MBA or equivalent is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in investment banking or corporate finance

Certifications

• CFA Level II or equivalent
