Job Description

We are currently seeking an IT Support Technician to provide top-notch technical support to our clients in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of IT systems and demonstrate a proactive approach to resolving issues. You will work closely with users to ensure their technical needs are met efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to support tickets in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new employees regarding IT setup.
  • Keep track of IT inventory and resources.
  • Develop and maintain user manuals and training guides.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members on projects.
  • Perform regular system updates and security checks.
  • Evaluate and suggest new IT solutions and tools.
  • Resolve escalated technical issues efficiently.

Requirements

Education
  • IT Certification (e.g., CompTIA A+)
Experience
  • 1+ years of experience in technical support roles

Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous
