We are on the lookout for a dedicated Dentist who is passionate about oral health and patient care. In this role, you will perform a range of dental services, from routine check-ups to complex procedures. Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose patients to provide appropriate treatment.
• Perform surgical and non-surgical dental procedures.
• Collaborate with orthodontists and oral surgeons when needed.
• Uphold rigorous hygiene and safety protocols in the practice.
• Encourage community awareness and education regarding oral health.
• Mentor junior staff and support their professional development.
• Actively engage in continuing education and training opportunities.
• Review and improve clinic workflows for better efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent
• Postgraduate diploma in dentistry is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in various dental specialties

Technical Skills

• Advanced restorative dentistry skills
• Surgical experience

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Time management

Certifications

• Infection Control Certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience in practice management: Experience leading a dental practice or managing staff.
• Familiarity with tele-dentistry: Knowledge of providing dental services remotely.
