Job Description

As a Fruit Grader Operator, you will be tasked with operating and maintaining the fruit grading machine. You will play a key role in ensuring that our fruits are accurately sorted and graded according to our rigorous standards. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect fruits to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Assist in the training of new operators on equipment usage.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise production flow.
• Participate in safety drills and follow sanitation procedures.
• Document production stats and report any discrepancies.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent

Experience

• No previous experience required.

Technical Skills

• Good hand-eye coordination
• Attention to detail

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills

Advantageous

• Experience in agriculture or food processing industry: Previous exposure to agricultural settings is a bonus.
• Experience operating machinery or equipment: Familiarity with operational equipment can be advantageous.
