Job Description

As a Forge Heater, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heating equipment used in the forging process. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all forging activities achieve the desired temperature for optimal production. This position requires a keen focus on safety protocols as well as the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate heating equipment for various forging techniques.
• Engage in preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment functioning.
• Document all temperature adjustments and maintenance in logs.
• Conduct daily equipment checks and report any issues to supervisors.
• Work closely with quality control to ensure forging meets specifications.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical qualifications in Metalworking or Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Languages
