Job Description

As a Data Quality Manager, you will be at the forefront of our data quality assurance efforts. This position requires developing strategies to monitor, assess, and improve data quality across our data science projects. You will work closely with data analysts and engineers, fostering a culture focused on data accuracy and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead data quality improvement initiatives and track progress.
• Develop automated data quality reports and metrics.
• Facilitate workshops to educate teams on data governance.
• Identify opportunities to enhance data accuracy and completeness.
• Work with data analysts to ensure data meets user needs.
• Participate in data governance committees to establish data policies.
• Provide inputs to project planning and execution to ensure data quality.

Requirements

Education

• BCom in Information Systems or related field
• MBA is an advantage

Experience

• 7+ years of experience focusing on data governance and quality.

• Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Data Protection Regulations: Understanding of data protection laws relevant to data handling and storage.
